“Better price and better service with these guys. I won't look anywhere else again and neither will my friends. Danny is a solid guy.”

Gutter Cleaning in Ridgewood & Bergen County
Every gutter cleaned by hand. Finished with air from blowers in the winter, and blown out and flushed in the spring, so water goes where it should.
Your Gutters Protect More Than You Think
Your roof catches a lot of water. In a single rainstorm, a roof sheds a surprising amount of it. Gutters and downspouts are the system that carries it away from your roof edge, your siding, your foundation and your landscaping. Leaves, pine needles, seed pods and shingle grit can pack that system in a season. In wooded Bergen County neighborhoods, it happens fast.
When water can’t move, it goes somewhere else. Usually, that’s somewhere expensive.
Illustrative photoWhat Every Gutter Cleaning Includes
- Hand-cleaned gutters, the right way for the season. Debris is removed by hand from commercial ladders. In the winter, we finish with air from commercial-grade blowers. In the spring, we hand-clean, blow them out with air, then flush them out.
- Downspouts cleared. We make sure your downspouts run free from roof to ground, and flush them out in the spring.
- Debris handled the right way for your town. If your town allows leaves at the curb during its leaf pickup time frame, we leave the debris on the street. Otherwise, we put it in buckets, load it into our trucks and take it away. Either way, we don’t leave a mess on your lawn, beds or walkways.
- Before & after photos. You see the work. No guessing.
- Spring & fall cleanings, or recurring twice-a-year service. Set it up once and stay ahead of it.
- Service calls and snow raking when you need them. Just ask.
Done the old-fashioned way, on purpose
Gutters are cleaned by hand from commercial ladders in every season (finished with air in the winter, and blown out and flushed in the spring), so we actually see your fascia, seams, hangers and downspout outlets as we go, and can tell you if something needs attention.
What You Get With Clean Gutters
Protects your foundation and basement.
Water is carried away from the house instead of soaking in next to it.
Protects your roof edge, fascia and soffits.
No more water sitting against wood trim.
Prevents overflow staining and erosion.
Fewer washed-out beds and muddy walkways.
Fewer pests.
No standing water for mosquitoes to breed in, and less debris for rodents and insects to nest in.
Smarter winter performance.
Gutters free of debris drain better, so less ice builds up at the roof edge.
Saves money.
A cleaning costs far less than rot, mold, foundation or basement repairs.
Better curb appeal.
No weeds sprouting from gutters, no sagging, streaky overflow.
What Clogged Gutters Can Do to Your Home
Gutters don’t fail loudly. They overflow, quietly soak the places that matter, and the bill arrives later. This is what a clogged gutter system can cause:

Soffit/Fascia Rot
When gutters overflow or back up, water runs down the fascia boards and soaks the soffits under your eaves. Wet wood rots, paint peels, and rotted trim invites carpenter ants, wasps and other pests inside. Replacing trim costs far more than a cleaning.
Roofing Damage
Backed-up water can creep under the edge of your shingles and into the roof sheathing. Over time that means lifted shingles, leaks and wet attic insulation.
Stagnant Water/Mosquitoes
A clogged gutter holds water for days after every rain. Mosquitoes can lay eggs in standing gutter water, and aquatic flies can breed there too. Clear, flowing gutters give them nowhere to start.
Mold
Constant moisture along your roofline and siding feeds mold and mildew. It spreads across siding and trim, and it can follow water into attics and walls.
Landscape Erosion
Overflowing gutters dump water in one spot instead of spreading it out. It washes out mulch, flower beds and topsoil, and leaves trenches along your foundation.
Foundation Damage
Water that pours straight down next to your house soaks the soil around the foundation. Saturated soil can lead to cracks, settling and seepage into the structure.
Flooded Basement
Water that collects at the foundation is one of the most common ways it ends up inside. A wet basement or crawl space means damp walls, musty smells, ruined belongings and expensive waterproofing.
Heaving Driveway
When downspouts or overflow dump water along the driveway, the soil under the slab stays saturated. Freeze and thaw cycles then push it up and crack it. That’s a New Jersey winter problem.
And in winter: ice.
Ice dams are mainly caused by heat escaping through the roof, but gutters full of leaves and slush hold the water that freezes at the roof edge, which makes ice buildup worse. Heavy ice can pull gutters off the house and force water under shingles.

How Often Should Gutters Be Cleaned?
- At least twice a year. Once in late spring and once in late fall after the leaves drop. That’s the standard for most homes.
- More often with trees close to the house. Oaks, maples, pines and other overhanging trees can fill gutters again in weeks, so some homes need three or four visits.
- After big storms. Heavy wind or ice can leave debris and shift gutters.

Gutter Cleaning Questions, Answered
How do you clean the gutters?
By hand, from commercial ladders, every season. In the winter, we hand-clean, then finish with air from commercial-grade blowers. In the spring, we hand-clean, then blow them out with air, then flush them out.
Do you clean the downspouts too?
Yes. Clean gutters don’t help if the downspouts are plugged, so we make sure they run free, and in the spring we flush them out so water can leave the roofline freely.
Do I need to be home?
Usually not. Tell us how to reach the gutters and any gates or pets, and we’ll take care of the rest.
What happens to the debris?
It depends on your town. If your town allows leaves at the curb and we’re within its leaf pickup time frame, we leave the debris on the street for the town to collect. If not, we put it in buckets, load it into our trucks and take it away. Nothing gets left in your beds.
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the house, the height and the amount of buildup. Estimates are free, and we have the most competitive prices in Bergen County.
Can you clean gutters that are far off the ground?
Tell us about your home when you request an estimate. We work from commercial ladders and will let you know honestly what we can and can’t safely reach.
Should I do my own gutters?
Some homeowners do. Ladder falls are a common cause of home-maintenance injuries, and it’s a dirty job. Many of our neighbors would rather have us handle it.
What areas do you serve?
Ridgewood and towns across Bergen County. See our service area on the Home page.
What Our Neighbors Say
“My realtor recommended Danny and his team. I was thrilled with his work.”
“Danny and Gary came to my house for a full makeover. They cleaned the roof, my house, the pool patio and Trex deck and my walkways. I've had companies power wash before and this was by far the best work done at my house. The price was also much better than the two other companies I've had come.”
